The law has been in effect for about 60 years
guaranteeing workers freedom of organization. Here is what the law says:
Employees shall have the right to self-organization to form, join, or assist
labor organizations…”As defined by the NLRB Sec 7.
If you’re not working as a union
plumber or pipe fitter, your employer can pay you whatever they want, can fire
you whenever they want, and can make you work in substandard and even dangerous
conditions. Yes, they can even shortchange you whenever they feel like it. You’re
one of the corners they can cut to be low bidder.
